My Approach

Whether you’ve been to a counselor before or this is your first time seeking help, I offer acceptance, openness, and inclusion to everyone.  Some concerns I’ve helped others with include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and traits, trauma, abuse, sexuality, substance use, work stress, and caregiver stress.

Therapy techniques offered by me are quite eclectic.  The most common techniques I use are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR, Person-Centered techniques, and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy.

Walking into a therapist’s office for the first time is sometimes scary and overwhelming.  As a therapist, I never forget that.  Meeting clients where they are and helping them work through stressors is my main focus.  Sometimes we need help navigating through this journey called life.  I’m here to help.
